Michael LeFever, MS, MSW, LCSW
Michael began his journey in health and wellness at the University of Central Oklahoma, earning a bachelor’s in 2008 and a master’s in nutrition and dietetics in 2013. His passion for the connection between nutrition and mental health shaped his commitment to holistic care that supports both body and mind.
He started his career in public health with the State Department of Health, providing crisis counseling and HIV/STI support while working to reduce stigma. In 2019, he earned his Master of Social Work and trained at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services, gaining experience in individual and group therapy.
Today, Michael supports clients navigating trauma, sexual and gender identity, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). His approach is open, honest, and strengths-based—offering a warm, judgment-free space where therapy feels like a meaningful conversation focused on your overall well-being.
Outside of his clinical work, Michael has been with his husband for over 20 years. Their home is full of life with dogs, cats, and reptiles—thanks to Michael’s background in veterinary medicine. He enjoys early morning weightlifting sessions at the gym and painting on the weekends. When traveling, relaxation is the goal, often accompanied by their 70-pound dog for hikes and outdoor adventures in nature.
